EcoGrid/EcoRaster Projects

TerraFirm Enterprises is committed to environmental sustainability and providing environmental solutions through innovation and technology. To service that commitment we strive to make a significant contributions to various evironmental iniatives and projects.

Two such initiatives are:

• LEED Certification, and
• Sustainable Streets Design

LEED Certification

Leadership in Energy and Environmental or LEED is a point rating system used to evaluate the environmental performance of a building. LEED Certification has been implemented by the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) and the US Green Building Council (USGBC).The use of EcoGrid/EcoRaster can assist projects to earn points under a variety of LEED ratings system credit categories.

Sustainable Streets Design

The Sustainable Streets Design Project, was initiated by the City of Vancouver to protect and improve the natural environment by adhering to and promoting the principles of urban sustainability. EcoGrid/EcoRaster has been used in both Sustainable Streets Design projects, namely the Crown St Project and the Country Lanes Project.
